As we enter the final weeks of the summer term and indeed another academic year, we'd like to say thank you to all of our students and families for your continued support this year.
We have had a successful and full year of face to face teaching with exam sessions at the Music School and external centres, live performance in the town centre at Christmas and the return of our annual Gatehouse show in April. We hope you have all enjoyed learning and progressing with us.
We break up for Summer after lessons on Friday 22nd July and will return on Friday 2nd September.
Direct Debit Payments
For all students continuing lessons with us until the end of July, the final payment to cover lessons taken during the current academic year will be charged on 1st August 2022.
We ask all students who are continuing lessons with us in September to complete our online enrolment form which you can find at www.staffordmusicschool.co.uk/enrol.
Please inform us of any students leaving us at the end of the July as soon as possible and the direct debit will be cancelled after the August payment has been collected.
Notification of Changes
If you require any change to the current lesson time/day for next term, please let us know as soon as possible so we can check our registers for availability. Our teachers are all currently fully booked and we have a waiting list for all courses so it would be helpful to know as early as possible to try and accommodate any requests. Thank you to parents and students who have already requested changes for the new term.
Important Changes from September
After much thought and discussion amongst staff, parents and students, we have taken the decision to close the music school during half terms when we return for the new academic year. Student absence is often high during half term weeks and we feel a break for staff and students will be beneficial all round.

Lesson Fees from 1st September
From 1st September 2022, lesson fees will be as follows :
All 1-2-1 Lessons - £53.50 per month
Vocal Group Lessons - £34 per month
Yamaha Guitar & Keyboard Group Lessons - £47 per month
We will still offer a discount on second courses and for siblings or immediate family members who subsequently commence lessons with us.
Music School Events
Next years annual concert is already scheduled for Sunday 26th March 2023 at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre. Please save the date in your diaries!
New Classes
We currently have a few spaces left in a brand new Guitar Encounters group for beginners on Thursdays at 5.50pm. This class is for ages 8 upwards and we can offer a free taster lesson for any student who would like to learn. If you would like more information or have a child who might be interested in this class, please let us know as soon as possible as places are limited.
